In April of this year I underwent major surgery. Afterwards I was neither feeling well enough or confident enough to be returning home where I live alone. The staff at Honeybourne Gate were wonderful and very quickly ordered the necessary equipment I needed. At Honeybourne Gate nothing is too much trouble in assuring that owners are happy and relaxed in a friendly environment. Today I am well and my future is bright, I cannot thank everyone enough for their kindness and care that went a long way to making my recovery such a success.

Just to say how delighted we are with the thoughtful attention from the all the staff at Honeybourne Gate. Mum has settled in to her lovely new apartment really well, made all the easier having friendly, helpful people around who I see genuinely care. I'm so relieved my mum is being helped to live independently in such a kind and safe environment.

The love, concern and practical help over the last three difficult months have been wonderful. The sense of security which this has brought not only to me, but to my family, is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

A few months ago, we both sold our homes and bought apartments in Honeybourne Gate. Moving here was a decision that neither of us has regretted for a moment! The interior of the building is a surprise, light, airy and spacious with high quality fixtures and fittings and excellent facilities including an inviting exercise pool. Living here gives us complete independence with the reassurance of knowing that help is at hand if needed and best of all, freedom from the responsibilities of maintaining a house and garden. We would encourage anyone to come and have a look – you won't be disappointed.

The staff at Honeybourne Gate are lovely and thoughtful and nothing is too much trouble for them. The apartments are very well laid out and well equipped.

My mother moved to Honeybourne Gate from her house where she lived for 60 years –a really big move and decision. The staff have been fantastic in helping her settle in and the increasing occupation and activities (afternoon tea and weekly film showings in the great cinema room at the moment) only helps her enjoy her new surroundings. I would recommend anyone to seriously consider Honeybourne Gate as it really is retirement living at is best.

After my husband died, I decided to move from my house in Essex to be nearer to family in Cheltenham. A friend of the family already lived in Honeybourne Gate and was very happy living here. The process of selling took a long time, but the sales team were really helpful, liaising with my solicitors and estate agent and gently pushing the process along when things slowed. I chose to have the recommended removals firm Advanced Removals, based in Gloucester, to come down to Essex rather than a local one and they were brilliant and made the whole move as painless as it could be!

After my husband passed, I never thought I would move, as it was too overwhelming to even think about, especially as it would mean downsizing. But Amanda from the recommended down-sizing company ‘Start-Afresh’ made everything so easy and was with me every step-of-the-way; from her very useful list of contacts. Amanda even stayed with me on moving day and didn’t leave until everything had been unpacked!

I moved into my flat 5 months ago and have been very happy here. Everyone is very friendly, and it is great to be greeted with a smile, there is such a welcoming atmosphere. It is so nice to have company and activities to join in, with the opportunity of meeting more neighbours!
