You could get £59.70 or £89.15 a week to help with personal care if you have a care need and you're aged 65 or over.
This is called Attendance Allowance. It's paid at 2 different rates and how much you get depends on the level of care that you need because of your disability.
The other benefits you get can increase as well if you get Attendance Allowance. Attendance Allowance is not means tested and not taxed!
In addition, if your partner or spouse receives Attendance Allowance and you look after them for 35 hours per week you may be elligible for Carers Allowance which is worth another £67.25 per week.
